4G/LTE not working on iPhone 5?

4G/LTE doesn't work on my iPhone 5, because my carrier uses 800 and 2600 frequencies… Is there any solutions?

Yes, but you won't like it.

You buy an iPhone for the carrier you use, not one unlocked from another carrier. There's no way for you to add the middle frequencies to get 4G service from your current carrier. That is built into the hardware of the device, not a software patch.

There's no easy solution. Either you must buy a new phone that supports the bands used by your carrier, or the carrier must add a band that is recognized by your phone.

  • Why will my iPhone 5s only get 4G and not LTE? I purchased an iPhone 5s from the AT&T store 2 days ago and I can't get a LTE connection on my phone only 4G. My dad also went to get a 5c and his has LTE and is on the same bill I know I'm in an LTE area.
  • Why is my iPhone using Wi-Fi now and not LTE like it was before? I got my first iphone about a month ago. It said that it was using Sprint LTE (supposedly faster connection). I hooked it up to my MacBook Air and it updated the phone right there. Now it's using my house's Wi-Fi. My question is… WILL MY PHONE GO BACK TO LTE IF IT CAN'T FIND Wi-Fi SIGNAL? I'm new with all of the Apple products and syncing them together. And another thing. I'm downloading music into my laptop. How do I transfer it to my iPhone?
  • Why does my iPhone not say 4G or LTE anymore? I had a huge phone bill so my parents turned off the data for my phone and now where it used to say 4G or LTE it is blank? Also I can't turn on iMessage unless I'm on Wi-Fi?
  • Rogers LTE data plan not Working on iPhone 5? Well my dad was going to cancel the contract but he decided to try the 3GB talk text and Internet data plan. But the problem is when I try to connect it to the data network, this message box pops up, saying:"Can't Activate Cellular Data Network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service." I tried resetting network settings, but it didn't help.
