A cheap data plan for iPhone 5?

I'm going to have to cancel my existing Verizon iPhone 5 plan due to some personal issues and since my phone is unlocked I'm able to choose another plan from another carrier and continue using it. I've checked T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile, and I think Boost Mobile's 18-month shrinkage unlimited plan is really good, but the website simply gives me a feeling that I will have to BUY a phone from them in order to use their service. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you don't pay the etf $349 it will be blacklisted on all carriers.

  • What is data in a Verizon data plan? I just got an iphone 5 and am having some trouble. I know that data includes email, accounts and any internet websites (facebook, youtube, netflix). Does it use up data to have multiple internet browsers open even though I only look at one at a time? Is it possible to use up data when the phone is off? Also, is taking a picture, playing app games, listening to music, and siri considered to be "data" on the data plan? Is there an overall explanation for what a data plan is?
  • What iPhone 5 plan will give me plenty of data cheap? I'm about to be in college so I don't have a lot of money. I have an iPhone 5s on my mom's plan, but I plan on getting my own and I need to know what plan to use that will give me plenty of data (3GB or more) but won't cost entirely too much.
  • What Are Cheap Things On Amazon And Why Are They Cheap? On Amazon.com I've noticed that some things are sold for very cheap (like iPhone cases) but other things like clothes and shoes seem to be full price. What are categories or things that are sold very cheap on Amazon? Why are some things cheap but others full price? Also, how can some things be sold for so cheap when they retail for way more?
  • Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
