A5 chip in an iphone 4? Is it possible?
I know this would kinda turn it into an iphone 4s but can it be done? To take out the current a4 processor and put an a5 in its place? What would be the pros and cons

Simply, there going to be in different sockets meaning there not compatible with each-other.
You will break your phone, and you will damage the motherboard and the actual processor and the iphone will be toast. Not recommended, but if you think that you are professional enough that someone at the apple genius bar doesn't even attempt, then go for it.
