Accidentally deleted itunes library?
I have managed to accidentally delete my itunes library.
Luckily, I still have all the music that I had hand picked off my computer on my phone but if I ever want to sync or add songs to my iphone the hundreds of songs I currently have on it will be erased and I will have to go through my huge home library and hand pick them again.
So. What would be most helpful at this time would be a reverse sync (syncing all the music from my phone into my itunes library)… Is there an way to do this? Or am i stuck with what i got?
Any suggestions anyone?
Depends how you deleted it, did you delete the folder, or did you delete it out of iTunes?
If you deleted the folder, just get it out of the trash and you should be fine.
If not, the only thing I can think of doing is finding where the music was saved on your computer and re importing it into itunes
- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
- Why do songs get deleted from my iphone when i sync it to my itunes library? Everytime i sync my iphone (5) to my itunes library, all the songs i had just recently bought on my iphone get deleted and if i try to re-purchase it on itunes it just says "purchased." Somtimes i will even try to re-purchase it from my laptop and even though the purchased song it in my library, it doesn't transfer to my iphone.
- Songs i did'nt purchase are getting deleted from my itunes library I have an Iphone and any song i downloaded from a CD either doesn't show upin my itunes library on my phone or it shows up but it automatically skips over it.
- In itunes is there any way to select multiple songs to send to itunes library? I just mixtapes from datpiff and the only way i could put it in my library was to select manage songs manually under my devices. I didn't know that it would delete my songs from my iphone to put that on but it did. I only have songs from itunes, not beemp3 or datpiff.luckily all my songs are saved under the music file and its 319 songs. Is there any way i can select all them to put in my library? I know about the hold shift trick but its not working.
