Accidentally restored my iPhone & lost everything?
I got a new laptop for Christmas & I was trying to get my music onto it so I plugged my iPhone into it. It acted kind of weird & then said it needs restored. So I did. I never downloaded iOS 6 because I never had the memory. I think I ran out of memory on iCloud 7 months ago too or something so the only option I had for restoring it was in may & so now all my pictures, notes, texts, & apps are GONE. I don't understand what people mean by restoring it through iTunes so I just don't know what to do please help me get my stuff back.
Unless you have these files on your computer then everything is gone. Sorry.
If you pushed "factory restore" or something like that. Sorry there isn't a way to get back any of your stuff. It just resets your phone.
Unless you backed up your information on iTunes you won't be able to get any of your information back, if you backed up via iTunes you would have to click on your iPhone in the Devices column and click on Restore from back up this will download all of the recent information that you have on iTunes from your last sync/back up you had done with your iPhone.
- Restored iphone and lost everything? I got my iphone 5 about a month ago and i hadn't synched it to itunes until today. When i went into itunes it asked me if i wanted to start it as a new iphone or restore it to my old ipod touch and i clicked ipod touch cause i wanted my old pictures and music but it completely deleted everything off my phone and put the stuff from my ipod on it. I lost all my new pictures contacts and messages. Is there anyway i can get those back? I didn't hook up to icloud either.
