Apple iPhone notes disappeared - moved to Outlook.com email? - notes folder?
Can someone please help me?
I have an iPhone 4s and my notes have disappeared. On my phone in Settings - Mail, Contacts, Calendars are my email accounts connected to my phone and only my Hotmail.co.uk (outlook) account is set to sync my mail AND notes from my phone. I assumed that there would be some kind of folder in my Outlook.com email account for notes but I can't find any sort of thing. All research I've done online about finding the notes synced to my Outlook.com account are talking about the sticky notes on the actual desktop etc. Which has no association with my email, they're talking about the Microsoft Outlook operating system (of which I have version 8.1). Where do you find the notes synced from my phone to my Outlook.com (online email) account? Oh dear.
It's true you can no longer sync Outlook notes to your phone via iTunes. There's a screen shot that shows Apple planned it and does not plan to change it back. Notes isn't in Outlook.com. I think Microsoft wanted to get people to switch to OneNote, which can be a little much.
Your other option is to look into third party Outlook sync software like AkrutoSync (www.akruto.com). It can also sync Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks without using the cloud.
- Why is all of my new e-mail going into my notes folder instead of my inbox? When I check my inbox on my iphone or from the computer, there are not any new messages. When I go into my e-mail account in yahoo mail, my new e-mails are in my notes folder instead of my inbox. On my iphone, there's not a "notes folder" avaliable for me to view. I did not even realize there was a notes folder until I accessed my yahoo mail through the computer. This is the first time I have had this to happen.
- Why are my iPhone videos not in sync with audio when moved on to my laptop? So when move videos i take on my iPhone 4s or iPod 4th gen to my laptop which is running Windows 7, all of the videos are not in-sync with the audio it was recorded with. They all work fine on the devices but never when I move them to my laptop. All I do is drag and drop the video files from the iPhone to my laptop. I do not use any converters.Am I doing something wrong?
- Some of my notes on my iphone disappeared, how do I get them back? I deleted my Mail account, forgetting that notes were attached to it because I wanted to have a different mail account on my phone, and when i realized i added it back, and all of my notes were still there, but they were all duplicated since i had both accounts on I guess? So i was deleting some of the duplicates and then (i don't know how or why) all my notes for the last 6 months got deleted. Is there any way to get them back?
- Should I change email address from gmail to outlook.com? So what's going on is I use a lot of products that use windows even know I have a iphone I normally use my gmail but I like outlook and wondering if I should transition or just keep gmail what are your thoughts
