Apps stuck on waiting but I don't want to delete them?
Today I turned my internet on (iPhone 4S) to check if I had any emails. Once I checked that I didn't, I saw that a few apps had started to download. I freaked out because I have barely any internet left, so I quickly deleted them all and turned my internet off before they could start downloading. I'm pretty sure the apps that were downloading were some that I had downloaded from iTunes on my computer and then synced into onto my phone, until I realised they were boring so i deleted them. But now I've just realised that during that short time that I had my internet on, it also started to update some apps. Now they're stuck on "waiting". I've looked on the internet for ideas but they all say to delete them and then download them again. I don't want to do this because then I will lose progress/files that are on the apps. Does anyone know how to get them off "waiting"?
Added (1). @ Geno. Yep I tried turning turning it off and then back on again, nothing:/ And I put my internet back on for 10 minutes and nothing happened… It stayed on waiting.
Have you turned off the phone and turned it back on? Also, you can wait until your data resets, then turn back on the internet.
- MY Iphone 4s apps are stuck in waiting? For the past 4 days I've had 3 apps stuck in "waiting", 2 are new and 1 is an upgrade. I've tried everything, even resetting all settings and nothing works. I hold down on the apps and I don't even get the option of deleting them to re-download them. Any ideas?
- My apps never load, stuck on waiting? So I used to have an iPhone 4 and now I have a 4s.both phones no Matter what I do the apps never load. They load immediately on my parents phone but not mine. I've tired clearing history and cookies, I've tried restarting it, getting a better connection, everything. I don't want to go to an apple store or anything.
