Are all Verizon iPhone 5's unlocked already?

Are all the Verizon iPhone 5's already unlocked by default when sold? Or do we have to unlock them?

I'm planning on buying one on use for TMobile

Added (1). Verizon's iPhone 5 can be unlocked for T-Mobile. The previous iPhones couldnt but the iPhone 5 can. Just need to know if it already comes out of the box unlocked

You can't do this.

1. Verizon uses a network technology called CDMA. Their phones are activated directly on their network and do not use SIM cards. Sprint and many of the smaller carriers (Virgin, US Cellular, MetroPCS, etc.) use the same technology.

CDMA phones don't come "unlocked" because there's nothing to unlock.

2. T-Mobile and AT&T use GSM mobile technology. Those companies use phones equipped with SIM cards.

Therefore, you can't use a Verizon (or Sprint) iPhone on T-Mobile's network. It will not work.

In case you were considering getting an AT&T model instead, you can unlock one and use it on T-Mobile (which you will have to do through AT&T, which has some restrictions about it), but you will not have the benefit of high-speed data (3G/4G) connections. The two companies use different frequencies, so it will not work.

You should either use the carrier the phone is branded for or get another phone.
