Are knock-off generic brand iphone chargers safe?
I'm looking to get a 6ft or longer charger for my iPhone 4S. I tried apple's website and they only had longer chargers for iPhone 5. I found a bunch on amazon, eBay, and other generic websites for much less than apple chargers, but I read online that these knock offs aren't safe and can harm my phone and possibly even harm me. Does anyone with more knowledge on chargers/ any electronics background know if this is true and a big problem or not? I don't wanna ruin my phones battery life but I need a longer charger for my dorm. And if the rumors are true, does anyone know where I can find a safe reputable brand iphone4s 6ft-10ft charger?
I think they're safe I never buy name brand chargers and nothing bad had happened to me or my phone. Check amazon.
As long as you're using the Apple USB charger, you're fine. Just get a longer cable.
- Why do they use slight knock off products on icarly? Why do they use slight knockoffs on icarly that are almost the same thing as the real product? For ex: they use Pear Phones instead of iPhones and Splashface instead of Facebook. If Nickelodeon gets permission from Facebook and Apple to use their product, can't they use the real thing?
- What iPhone charger should I get? The apple or knock off? They only have a $7 dollar difference at Best Buy (apple charger being more $). Are they the same? Am I better off to get the knock off and save $7? Will an apple charger last longer?
- Using a generic iPhone 5 chord? So I want to get another iPhone 5 chord from ebay for when I'm not home but I'm scared that it will hurt the battery not using the one that came with it. Does anyone use a generic on and their phone is still fine?
- Is there any iphone games that are knock offs of the old gameboy pokemon games? I'm looking for a games like pokemon ruby, sapphire, blue, yellow, etc those were always my favorite and extremely addicting if I could find a game like that for my iphone that would be amazing I don't think it would be that hard for iOS to produce those kind of graphics. And please don't tell me to jail break! I'm not interested in doing that. Any help is much appreciated.
