Are my minutes being used up on Facetime?

I just bought my Telus prepaid. I bought 30 min of call with unlimited text for a month. I have had no calls yet all week. Today, my friend called me on facetime for about 10 min while using Wi-Fi. After I was finished, I checked my cellular usage, and it said I used up 10 min…

Why is it using up my minutes if I'm using facetime on Wi-Fi. Telus told me any communication with other iPhones using Wi-Fi is free, (such as iMessage)

No minutews are used with face time
usualy ATT blocks you from useing without Wi-Fi
SO BEWARE IF you ARE NOT BLOCKED AND HAVE LIMITED INTERNET YOU CAN EASLY GO OVER your LIMIT AND PAY LOTS AND LOTS OF MONEY if not you shouldent worry

If you ring first and then turn facetime on, then you will be charged for that call bit. The rest of hte time spent on facetime is free. If you go directly from your contacts to make a facetime call then it's free. So yeah

I think its not using your facetime minutes but your data usage that is being used up. I would say turn off your data usage and just use Wi-Fi and see if this still happens
