Belkin autolive fm transmitter won't turn on?

I recently purchased a Belkin auto live fm transmitter to connect my iphone to my car stereo. When I plus the product into the outlet and the other side to the phone, my phone begins to charge but the Belkin is still not on. Is the product broken or am I not doing something correctly? There were no detailed instructions given with it, so I'm assuming it is just not functioning properly.

You have to tune the transmitter and your FM radio to the same station and turn your radio on. Have you done that?

  • Why isn't my belkin wireless router working? I just bought a belkin wireless router (type wpa/wpa2) and I can't seem to get it to work. I activated it on my ipod as well as my iphone and laptop, but nothing is working. When I set it up, the light that said "modem" under it was red even though I connected it to the modem already.
  • Why is Belkin Wi-Fi on iPhone not working? In settings it says that I have got the network and am logged in but in the top left hand corner it shows the mobile data symbol not the normal Wi-Fi one. I stopped using mobile data (lost signal) but when I tried to use Internet it said something along the lines of the webpage failed to load because safari is not connected to the Internet. This is really annoying and it is costing me loads to write this!
  • What type of FM Transmitter should I purchase? I have a Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter at the moment but wires are somewhat exposed to due to having it for a while. Honestly there was tons of static and I want a better product this time. Any suggestions that are compatible with the iPhone 4? Griffin iTrip 2011
  • What is the best fm transmitter for ipod/iphone? Ok so i've had some in the past that have always let me down regarding static and interferance. Ideally, i'm looking for one that can be portable and then plugged in to be charged. Also one that displays the song names on the car radio would be cool. One that is also very powerful in terms of distance because there has been times where i pick up other peoples transmitters
