Bluetooth not working on new iPhone 5S?

I recently got an iPhone 5S, and everything seems to be working just fine, except for Bluetooth. My phone can't seem to find any other devices (it's like loading endlessly and it doesn't find any devices to match with). My bluetooth is on, and my computer's bluetooth is on too. But when I go on my computer, it can find my iPhone, but when I try connecting to it the connection fails.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried resetting the wireless network on my iPhone, shutting down the iPhone and the computer (I'm using a MacBook Air)…

Apple only allows pairing with audio devices, keyboards and a few other accessories via Bluetooth. You can remove this restriction through a jailbreak and the appropriate setting s app.

  • Bluetooth on my iPhone 4 isn't working? The bluetooth on my iPhone doesn't seem to be working, whenever I try to send something from my phone to someone else's it just says 'searching devices' for ages and it never seems to find anything. And when someone tries to send something to me it just says 'not paired' or something like that. Do you know how I can fix this? And how to send photos and songs through bluetooth from my iPhone to other phones.

  • Is it possible to pair a Bluetooth dongle with two Bluetooth devices at one time? I have two sofas with inbuilt Bluetooth and iPhone docks. It's possible to pair a phone to one sofa at a time and play music via Bluetooth. If I bought a Bluetooth dongle for my television, would it pair to just one sofa? Or is there a way to pair it to both without having wires running across the room?
