Can a ChromeBook be used to back up an iPhone?
I'm deciding on a new laptop and the ChromeBook looks good. But the main thing I need it for is to back up my iPhone. Can you install iTunes on to one? How many USB ports does it have? Or would a windows laptop be best? Any help/advice please.
The chromebook is NOT a laptop, it is a netbook. It runs Chrome as operating system and I believe that it is not possible to install itunes on Chrome.also, these machines are designed for online operation, they have the least possible hard disk space, so backing up your phone on this one is not an option.
if you had the money for a fancy overpriced iPhone, go get a Macbook and everything will be fine.
Youll have to get a windows or mac machine. Chrome books are made that kind of stuff, They don't install application its a web based OS with near only Cloud storage, Good for traveling, Online media, ect.
