Can a found iphone 5s be switched to my service?

I tried finding a way to contact the person and i reported it to the facility it was found at. No one came looking or asking for it so i was told i can keep it. The phone was under sprint network.Is there any way i can use it under at&t now?

No I believe sprint has made this new thing where sprint phones can't be unlocked for any other carrier. Just sprint

If its not icloud locked then you can at least use it somewhere, but the owner should put a msg on it to contact them if find my iphone was on it.

  • Switched Iphones and now no service? Hi, so i recently was given an Iphone 4 from a friend (the exact same kind as my previous one) and I switched the sim card into the new phone and now I get no service. A few times I also got "Invalid Sim" instead. I thought that this was meant to be really easy to switch the Sim card but apperently not. I'm using rogers, if anyone knows an easy fix to this problem that would be greatly appreciated.Id rather not have to drive out to a Rogers store to get this fixed.

Now I tried to switch from his service AT&T, which he isn't a part of now (because of jailbreak) to Tmobile with a Sims card and activation kit at Walmart (50 bucks including the sim and activationness and 30 dollar montlhly. So I got all that set up and my iphone still won't work! Now what?
