Yes but you have to make sure of a couple things.
1- it is not currently active on an account.
2- does not owe a bill (Previous owner is not in debt to sprint)
3- finding a store or someone to do this flash correctly.
In my previous experience if the flash is done properly you should have very little problems. You might experience some difficulty with mms (pic message) and sometimes the web acts screwy but not to often.
