Can I buy a locked iPhone from US (Apple Site) in India?
I want to buy a locked iPhone from the US (at&t preferred) in India, as they're quite cheap. Any possible way to do so and gt it shipped to India?

When you will get the phone it will be locked. And there's possibly no place that can unlock the phone(in india).
that why these companies are making money. As soon as you put an indian sim to the phone the phone will not work.
the phones are cheap becoz american users get an att sim card free and they have a contract kind of thing that they have to use their network for 4 to 5 years then they send an unlocking code then the phones unlocked.
