Can I buy a Verizon iPhone and deactivate it?
I'm opening a new line on a Verizon family plan. I intend to buy and activate a new iPhone 5 on that new line since it will only cost me $200. But I have an inactive Verizon iPhone 4 at home that I would like to use in place of the iPhone 5.Is it possible to purchase the iPhone 5, deactivate it and activate the iPhone 4 on the new line that I purchased the iPhone 5 with? If it is possible, is there any charge or negative repercussions of doing this?

- Where can i deactivate the symbol next the procent of the battery, and what does it mean? Can someone explain me what's the symbol appeared on my iphone 6, next the procent of the battery -top right- 11%)?
- IPhone iCloud account deactivate? I purchased a iPhone from someone off eBay and right after they shipped it off they sent me a msg saying they forgot to take their iCloud acct off and to refuse the pckg and they will send it back to me overnight. Sounded kind of odd. Is there any other way I could remove the iCloud off the phone w/o having to go thru all this?

- How to deactivate an iPhone 4? Okay so i bought an iphone off someone from craigslist and they didn't deactivate it so their number is still activated and i have the phone so obviously i can't call them to deactivate it… There's no sim card in the iphone 4 so i'm really confused please help
