Metro pcs uses the same network as t-mobile. If it's unlocked you should be able to use your iPhone without any problem. Unlocked implies not tied to a carrier. Unfortunately your phone will not work on Verizon or sprint.

I currently have the 4 lines for 100 with metro pcs but i want to get an iphone 6, and i believe Metro can't run on them if they arent unlocked (?) and i don't want to pay extra cash for it.
