Can I leave the country ithout paying my mobile bills?

But recently I found out I have to go back to Romania in three weeks.
The thing is that one, onth ago I bought an iPhone 5 from a danish company. I explained the situation and they told me I should pay everything before I leave - around 550 euro, which I don't have.
Can I be tracked after I go to Romania? They have my danish ID, but I'm not going to live on this address if they come and check. Can I be located, since Romania is in the EU?

If you don't pay an outstanding bill, the phone will be blacklisted, and unusable
your credit rating will also be affected

The bill never actually goes away. So its possible it could come back to bite you some day when you don't expect it too.

Are you a Romanian national living in Romania? Is it a temporary danish ID?

They won't pursue the bill in other countries, nothing is going to happen.

It is up to you and your consciousness as to whether you will pay or not. The right thing of course is to pay, anything else is stealing.

I know of several exchange students who have run away from telephone bills and public transportation fines and later come back to Denmark without any problems.
