Can I Sell Waterproof Cases for iPhone on eBay?
I was wondering if their is anyone out there who might have some insight on this topic. I'm looking to get in to selling waterproof cases for the more popular phones out there. Now of course these would be generic, however I know many big companies offer waterproof cases. As long as I list these cases as generic and unbranded, and don't associate them with big companies like OtterBox and LifeProof, am I allowed to sell these on eBay? Does anyone know if LifeProof has the patent on waterproof cases all together, or whether Apple, Samsung, etc. Can put a violation on me for selling a case for their phone?

They would be your competition too so knowing how they do it without being shut down may help you.
If you want to know if someone has an enforceable patent in the USA, you would naturally look it up in the USPTO database or use google.com/patents to look it up, or pay someone else to research it for you.
