Can I switch a Verizon iPhone 4S to the Sprint Network?
I've recently acquired a Verizon iPhone 4S & have heard that it's possible to flash a phone over, though through my searches have found sometimes it's NOT possible. I'm not interested in doing it myself, but rather gettingit done, is this possible or not? Are there places I can go to get it done? Can iPhone's be flashed?
This can be done… In other words, it's possible… But it isn't recommended at all, since the flash might fail and brick your phone, or Sprint won't allow you to activate the device on their network. This is the problem with CDMA devices… You're stuck with one carrier.
If you take your phone to a real sprint store. They will scan the phones ID numbers and tell you if their network will support it. Only in a sprint store do that have a computer to the master system and can add the phone as long as the ID's are current and not reported stolen or something.
Its probably possible but the chances of either network accepting a phone from the other is slim to none.
