Can i temporarily remove a device from icloud?
Can i temporarily remove my ipad from my icloud account, but keep my iphone on it. I want to update the software on my ipad but it doesn't have enough storage, so can i remove it from icloud to give it more storage, update the software then reconnect it to icloud?
You can unlink an iPad from iCloud by going to settings then iCloud and turning off all the mail, contacts etc. Don't delete your account, as this will delete it for good from every device.
However, if you haven't the storage on your device to update, turning off iCloud won't help (unless its a very small amount of storage needed). Your best option is to delete one or two apps that you hardly use and then update, reinstalling them later if possible.
You can check what things on your device take up the most room by going to Settings < General < Usage and wait for it to load the largest files on your iPad.
This is the best option for getting enough storage to install an update - and I bet there are many apps/music/photos that you can't remove for the time being to update your iPad.

I want to temporarily remove pictures from my iPhone 4s to give me more memory space for videos and to take more pictures while on holiday but when I come back to retrieve my pictures back onto my phone I want them to be just like they were so I have the option to delete them on the device not just on itunes whereas with all the ways I know that is the only way it can be done… Help please.

- Not receive texts temporarily? I would like to know how to not receive texts temporarily, but then you get them when you want. I know you can put your phone on airplane mode but it will show if my phone is on airplane mode so when my dad checks it he will turn airplane mode off and my phone will receive the texts. Is there any other way that I can temporarily not receive texts but then get the texts after I turn an option off? By the way, I have an iPhone!
