Can I text people in another country from my iPhone if I'm connected to Wi-Fi?

I currently live in Florida, soon I'm going to Europe for a trip. I'm not gonna get an international plan for my trip, but if I'm connected to Wi-Fi in Europe can I still text people in America?

You should be able to, and if not you can always download the app Textplus and you should be able to send messages. I use that app on my ipod when I go to other countries.

I'm not sure about text messaging but you can use apps to text! When I was in Europe I used the app Tango and the app Kik messenger! Hope this helps
