Can I unlock an iPhone 4 on the 3 network?

I'm considering purchasing an iPhone 4 from eBay however, it is on the 3 Network & my contract is with orange. I was wondering; is it possible to unlock the phone via 3 without a 3 simcard? Or is it possible to unlock it easily via any other way?

Only baseband 1.59.00 can be unlocked on the iphone 4.
all other baseband only the original carrier can unlock.

  • Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
