Can i unlock verizon iphone to work on tmobile?
I have an Iphone 4s from verizon and have a t-mobile sim. Is it possible to unlock the ihpone so that i can use it tmobile with absolutely no problems.
i've read online (from about a year ago) that:
Verizon iPhone 4S, even when unlocked by Verizon, won't support another carrier's SIM (T-Mobile in this case) in the US. It only lets you use a carrier outside the US. Furthermore, I've seen many people saying that if it did work, I would only be on the 2G data network at best. There were other drawbacks mentioned as well, such as loss of picture messaging capability, and some other things.
is any of this true or will i be okay to unlock and use normal
Yes. Are you the original owner? Then go ahead and ask Verizon to unlock it for you. It should work without any flaws with your T-Mob SIM then.
If you are not able to do it with them, then try the link below. It is not for free though. Or try eBay, but beware of scams.
- Will the verizon iphone 5s model A1533 work on Tmobile? So I found a Iphone 5s while walking one day, and its been about a week and no one has called this phone or tried to make contact to have me return it. So now I'm just going to use this phone for myself. The sim in the Phone was a verizon SIM so I figure its the verizon model. My question is will this phone work on Tmobiles networks?
