Can I use a Verizon iPhone 4 for my virgin mobile plan?
My friend gave me an iPhone 4 for my bday he tolled me he found it while hiking (he doesn't lie to me so I believe him) my question is I have a virgin mobile account an was wondering if I could use this phone for that account it is a verizion wireless phone the coverage is out though I was thinking about buying an iPhone for my virgin mobile account but that cost about 250 (they only have iPhone 5 I think) but I don't feel like using more then have my paycheck on that could I use the iPhone I have for my account?
The Verizon iPhone 4 is pure CDMA. CDMA phones can't be unlocked, but *sometimes* they can be flashed (reprogrammed) to work with a different CDMA carrier. Virgin is also CDMA, but Virgin is owned by Sprint, and Sprint never lets Verizon phones work on their network and vice-versa.
Basically this phone probably will only work on Verizon, ever.

Just get the phone flashed to Virgin. It probably has bad ESN since someone lost it and your friend found it. Check online for flashing iPhone to Virgin.
