Can I use a Verizon iPhone 4 on a AT&T plan?
My friend recently got a new phone so she gave me her old iPhone. It's a 4 so it has no SIM card, she had Verizon, if I bring it to my AT&T provider, can I use it on my plan?
No AT&T uses GSM technology and Verizon uses CDMA a completely different type of technology that are incompatible with each other.

- Verizon: Can I use an upgrade from someone else on my plan? I have an iPhone 4S and I'm not due for an upgrade until March of next year, but I would like to upgrade to an iPhone 5C. My mom (who is on my plan) has an upgrade available that she doesn't want to use (she does not have a smartphone, just a basic flip phone. I don't know if that matters or not).
