Can I Use A Verizon iPhone 4 with Straight Talk? (Wal-Mart)?

I'm thinking about getting a iPhone 4 from someone because I need a upgrade (iPhone 5 is too expensive) but I don't feel like paying so much for service or getting into a contract. So I was wondering before I even buy the phone, can I somehow use it on Wal-Mart's straight talk plan?
If so, would there be anything special I need to do to the phone itself?

Yep. I feel like straight talk will slowly creep in the "underground" phone business

No. Verizon is a CDMA network carrier. Straight Talk is a GSM company that buys and resells airtime from T-Mobile and AT&T. CDMA devices won't work with their service.

Besides, Verizon won't let you activate one of their phones on another network.

Verizon phones have the option to change from cdna to gsm
