Can I use a Verizon iPhone 4S on ATT network?
My sister wants to let me use her verizon iPhone until Christmas (when I would get the brand new 5S). A lot of people are telling me no, because there's no sim slot… But her phone has a sim slot. What would be the process of using it on att?
Added (1). Is there maybe an unlocking process or something?
There's a sim slot, but Verizon and att use differect cell standards and their phones are not useable on each other's network.
Unlocking is where you pay off your contract and then own the phone. You can then use it with any compatiable carrier. It doesn't change the phone's built in electronics. No way a Verizon phone will work with ATT. Can't be done.

- Is there any way I can use an AT&T iPhone 4 on the Verizon network? My friend just got the new iPhone 5 and my old phone broke so he gave me his old iPhone 4. The problem is he has the iPhone 4 from AT&T and my plan is with Verizon. I've heard its possible to unlock the phone free by calling AT&T since his 2 year contract is up with that phone, so that it can be used by any carrier. However I know AT&T uses sim cards and Verizon doesn't. Is there ANY way I can use this phone with Verizon? I have no other options for a new phone.
