Can I use my cricket iphone in another country?
Life may be taking my studying abroad in the future. I like my iphone and noticed it has a sim card slot. If I buy a sim card abroad can it work with my phone.

Nope, the iPhone I think you're talking about is the iPhone 4, and it is CDMA only, which is the technology we use here in the US for most of our phones, with the exception of AT&T and T-Mobile.
If you have the iPhone 4S, then you will need to call Cricket and see if they can unlock it for you
