Can I use my iPhone 4s in Mexico?
My plan it AT&T and my sister doesn't want to get that thing where you pay to use internet or something.So I was wondering, can I use safari/tumblr/Facebook on my phone without it? I /think/ I remember using it two years ago when I went but I can't be sure. And I already know it will add to the bill, but again, can I use those apps and the internet on my phone there?
Technically you can but like you said, you would be charged money. I used to go to Mexico with my phone and I'd get charged a lot, so I turned off roaming on the settings. I didn't have AT&T but it seems like you wouldn't get service over there.Therefore, you can't use those apps unless you want to be charged money or if you connect to Wi-Fi there.
Turn Cellular Data and and roaming settings off.

This makes it a Wi-Fi only device so you can use Safari, iMessage, Facetime, web based stuff only that way. No big bills. Best luck.
