Can i use the sim card from my blackberry in an iphone?
So my friend told me that I can have her Iphone 3 since she has the iphone 5 now… I was just wondering that with my blackberry social plan, will it work if I UNLOCK her phone? I know bbm won't and i won't have data but i'll just use Wi-Fi. I put my sim card in and it said no service too… But this might be because it is locked to bell., Thanks for the help!

There's no iPhone 3. 3G or 3GS (still baffled by why this is such a common error all of a sudden).
Yes a SIM card can work from another phone into an iPhone. There's no special BlackBerry SIM or iPhone SIM. However both phones would have to be on the same network or the iPhone would have to unlocked.
It will work if your friend's iPhone is unlock. Meaning, it is not tied into a specific network service provider. To successfully use any SIM card to any iPhone, you can have that iPhone unlocked first.
It should work if the SIM factory format is the same (it should be)
BUT why will you put a SIM card or try to unlock a phone that is about 5-years old? If you plan just to use it with Wi-Fi, as a glorified iPod then do so and keep your BB. You still have BBM and data plan there.
