They just shared that with apple and they are testing the hypothesis. But it worked when i tried; i only put the battery though not the phone.

Doubt it. It will most likely be damaged or destroyed by the intense RF power generated by the microwave. The receiver circuitry is probably designed to handle a few milliwatts, and you're going to blast it with 1200W. The metal in the phone could also get very hot, due to the currents induced in it, and melt your phone.
This microwave is not the microwave OVEN!
It is a high power microwave beam transmits from antenna. Special made iPhone antenna captures this high power microwave beam then convert it back into DC to charge a quick chargeable device.
This was just a dream design but not existed in market and no company put up this high power microwave station for wireless charging. Because it is too expensive to make them work.
