Can iphone 5c text/receive pictures from android?
Like if someone with an android phone sent a picture in text to an iphone, would you be able to see it? And if someone with an Iphone sent a picture to an android, would they be able to see it? Sorry if this sounds stupid, i'm barely entering the world of Apple.
Yes, both devices will be able to see the picture. However, there will be a group text issue. If a person with an iPhone uses group text with iPhones and android phones. The people with iPhones will see the group text normally. The people with androids will see the text as if it was sent by individual people, and will not, receive all group texts as one. It turns into a text message puzzle or who said what and what not. And if a person with an android sent out a group message to you, you would see it as individual texts, not as a group message. In short, pictures and single messages are fine, group messages between the two os's is a big no.
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? The group has both Android users and iPhone users. I'm an iPhone user. Does this mean that I will receive everyone else s messages like an iMessage group, or will all messages go directly between the conversation starter and whoever is messaging him, without any of the other group members seeing what the other members said?
