Can iphone 6 be tracked if reset and sim card removed?
Okay so I have a quick question so if someone made a call to the police using an iPhone 6 without a Sim card can the police track it and know the iPhones owner and number? Or only track it? Now let's say if this incident happened like one month ago and the police are now investigating can they now track it if the phone has been reset it and now have a active SIM card?
It sounds like you're trying to get hide from something. But, it's possible if it's still turned on and using a signal of some sort, they might have some technology to track it, especially if they were already tracking it before you removed it.
i know there's an option to turn of tracking if you have find my friends, or find my iphone.
but they probably have advance technology to track something if they wanted too. They usually would need a warrant though i believe to track any civilian property, especially if it's for a investigation.
