Can iphones stop sending text messages and sending calls?
Cause my boyfriend was trying to reach me yesterday and he called me three times and he said it rang a few times and then it went to voicemail, so could there be something wrong with his phone and he doesn't realize it?
Added (1). BTW this has happened before where I would receive everybody's calls and texts except one person and it was quite frustrating to deal with. Except that phone was a prepaid phone which I no longer have cause I switched to contract and got a pantech phone, does not getting calls and texts happen quite often with prepaid?
It is more likely that the calls were going through a different provider's cell tower and not getting through to your phone. It can be really annoying but apparently is an issue with iphones with certain service providers. We have this happen to us intermittently too, or have long delays before a message or call actually shows up on the other person's phone.
It's unlikely it's his phone. If he got your voicemail it means his phone is working properly.
Maybe YOU don't have cell service?
You also can shut off data and Wi-Fi in the Settings App. So that could cause the issue.
ALSO your phone could be on Do Not Disturb mode which silences EVERYTHING.

However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages.
