Can my employer see my 4G LTE search history?

I accidentally searched for something last night on my LTE connection that I should not have searched for according to my company s policies. I own my iPhone, but my employer pays for service. This morning I got an email reminder that I needed to complete my organization s compliance certification for standards of conduct.

Could my organization have some sort of notification system that alerts them when an inappropriate search is performed that then automatically sends an email to me? Or am I just getting the notice because it is the end of the year and I need to complete it soon?

Only with a warrant.

At least with Verizon, the account owner can go online and see activity of people on the account. It's usually meant for kids, but it can be used for anyone with a phone.

As for why they are giving notice, we have no way of knowing.

Depends on details of them paying for the service. Are they giving you the money, where it's still "your" account? Or is the account in their name where they can review the activity on it?

If they have access to the account itself, they can almost certainly review the activity. If they provided the phone, it's also possible they installed a monitoring application.

It's likely coincidence, but it depends on how you have things set up with them.

  • New to iPhone. Why did my search history show up on my iphone? I just got my first iphone. I plugged it into my computer, and I noticed that all the stuff I have searched showed up on my phone. Can anyone tell me why?
  • I'm using someone's Wi-Fi, can they search my history? I'm using my iPhone and old phone to connect to my homes secured Wi-Fi. I always clear search history on my phone. But can my family use their laptop and find out what I've been searching online from my phone connected to my family's Wi-Fi? Even though I clear search history on my phone?
  • How to see full search history on iphone? When I say full search history I mean the search terms that come up below the search when I click on the search bar in Safari on my iPhone. This only shows like 10 of my previous search terms. Is there any way to see every search term I've put in? Even a third party app? P.S. My iPhone is jailbroken and I haven't deleted any of my browser history or cookies or anything.
  • How to delete search history on new YouTube iPhone app? Got the new iOS 6 update for my iPhone. The YouTube icon is no longer default, so you have to get the one from the App Store, which is quite different from the old one. Whenever you click on the search icon it comes up with a list of your entire search history. How do you delete/clear your history? I don't have an account, in case that helps.
