Can my iphone be tracked through my carrier with airplane mode turned on?
I know how to stop my phone from being tracked through the iphone itself, but how do I stop it from being tracked through my carrier without shutting my phone off?
If your phone is connected to the network, the service carrier knows where it is. This is a federal regulation 911 emergency call requirement. Shut the phone off if you need privacy.
You can't unless you turn off the gps.
- What apps can you use on Airplane mode with an iPhone? I'm flying out and I'm mostly wondering if you can read books and the iTunes U if the programs are already downloaded. I don't want to Kill my battery either.

If someone has stolen an i phone 5 can it be somehow tracked if sim is disabled/ destroyed, the phone has been completely reset to factory settings and had a new sim from a different provider placed into it with find my phone, location services all turned off too. is there any way by using IMEI number or other that it can be tracked by police, phone provider or other?
- I accidentally turned on airplane mode on my iphone 5c and now the internet won't connect? I turned it right off but it refuses to connect to the internet. It's driving me crazy. I've tried resetting it multiple times but it just won't work. What do i do?
