Can't get iphone out of recovery mode?
I just got my aunts old iphone 3 and when i turned it on it said it neaded to connect to itunes. Itunes then said that the iphone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored. So i pressed restore and it took about 40 minutes but at the end nothing happened and it was still in recovery mode. I treid restoring again and then it said extracting softwear, after that it said it was preparing for restore but then it said an unknown error (1611) ucorred.
Download a program called TinyUmbrella.
1.plug in your iphone
2.open TinyUmbrella
3.select device from list on the left
4.click "Exit recovery"
