Can't hear anything on iphone 4?
I tried playing pandora and I can't hear anything and i tried music apps, youtube, and ringtones (on settings) and I can't hear a thing I got earphones plug it in and I can perfectly well but without them I can't hear a thing and when I turn the volume up its says ringer and It only vibrates and I tried the button on the side turning it to silent and back up but it doesn't work
Maybe your phone is stuck on mute. Try to swith it on and off if it don't work.
then use the accessibility button found in genral ease of access area and you get a little dot on your screen then though this you can mute and unmure your iphone without using the button on the side.
The phone is stuck in docking mode. You will have to have the dock connector replaced. We do it for $65 to give you and idea on price.

However, my Voice recorder does work. Its just the video. It also works when I have my headphones in. I researched the problem and found out its common on the iphone 4/4s. I still have an iPhone 3GS and recently I have found that whenever I make a call or receive a call, I can't hear the person on the other end, but they can hear me. It doesn't work when it's on speaker or headphones either. But whenever I listen to music or sound from an app I'm hear it fine. I have tried a hard resets and I don't know what to do.
