Can't receive group texts on iPhone 5c?

I love this iphone 5c but I have realized that I'm unable to receive group texts. Apparently I can send them just fine because my friends get them. I have T-mobile and plan on going there to see if this is a carrier issue, but googling it, I saw that there were other iphone users with different carriers who have a similar problem. Now I can SMS text fine, and apparently send group texts fine (MMS), just never get any of the replies. I have MMS and group messaging all on, I have cellular data, etc. Is this an iphone 5c issue? IOS 7 issue? I'm just pretty frustrated at this point.

Yeah iPhone 5c should be able to easily

  • Why is my iphone responding to group texts with my email address? I just updated my phone and it's started doing this. I also can no longer receive pic messages even though my cellular data is turned on.
  • Why does my iPhone receive messages late when I'm in a group text? I have the iPhone 4s with 16g (I have less than a gig left of space) and am on T-Mobile. Every single time I'm added to a new group text, my phone delays all messages sent to me. Regardless of whether it's another iPhone or if they're on the same carrier as me, none of my messages get to me until an hour or so later. Is it because I'm low on space? Or is it T-Mobile (probably the worst carrier I've ever had by the way)? Or is it the iPhone software?
  • Why does my iphone not receive group messages unless 4g is on? When I'm at home and I'm using Wi-Fi I always turn off cellular data because I don't want to accidentally be using up my data, but whenever it is off I never receive group messages until I turn it back on? Why does it so this and can I make it so I can still receive group messages when only using Wi-Fi?
  • Recovering group texts from iPhone 4s? I accidentally deleted my group texts I had with my friends from my iPhone, while looking at my texts. It wasn't just one message, it was the entire group, how can I get it back? I'm not sure if I have my itunes set to backup my iphone? And I know a lot of the texts were from after I last connected my phone to my computer anyway. Is there a way to recover them? For free?
