Can you put an iphone 5 in the washing machine?
I dropped my iphone 5 in the toilet bowl and i was wondering if i could wash it in the washing machine?
Umm no. But a good way to clean it with clorox wipes. Then stick it in a bow ol raw rice.

Nope. I don't think you should put any kind of electrical device in the washing machine but if you need to clean your phone you should you use a cleaning solution that clearly says it can be used on iphones. Try going to a repair shop or an iphone shop and they might be able to help.

You could, but it would destroy it. Just rinse it off good. Take the battery out. Spray some non-ammonia cleaner on a cloth, and use the cloth to clean it. Let it dry for at least a day before putting the battery back in it.

- My iphone 5s went on a washing machine and it turns on and the screen too but the touch dosent work? I tried putting it in rice and drying it with a hair drier or blow drier everything works except the touch and the screen has a white strap going down and you can see the water or water stains any suggestions
- My iphone 5 was in the washing machine It was in the pocket of a pair of sweatpants for about 5 minutes by the time i realized i had left it in there the water had just started to run. My phone was wet but there didn't seem to be too much damage. The music still played fine and i could hear people on calls. But then i noticed a screen discoloration in the bottom left corner! Is this bad? Do i need to go to the Apple Genius Bar or to the Verizon store? I'm soaking it in rice now and it is still in warranty.

- IPhone dongle went through washing machine? I accidentally left the dongle (lightning to aux adapter) in the pocket of a jacket that went through the washing machine. The cord s completely dry, so is there any harm in trying to plug it into the iPhone and an aux cord to see if it still works?
