Can you transfer compatible Android apps from iPhone to Android?

I had my iPhone 4S iOS 7 for 2 years, and I'm switching to the Samsung Galaxy S4. I have iPhone apps that I loved playing during those 2 years, but I'm afraid and hesitant to lose my apps' datas and progresses once I get the Galaxy. I will give my iPhone to someone, so I won't be able to be on my iPhone anymore… Don't worry, the iPhone apps that I was talking about are compatible with Android.

The question is: Can I transfer iPhone apps to Android, or I do I have to re-download the apps and play them from the start?

You have to re download, however, if you had an account on the game with username and password, your progress is recorded and transferable.

Nope, you'll have to re-download and start over.

My suggestion? Buy an iPod Touch and just play them on that. Just buy like the 4th gen or something.

Oh, but the exception is if it links to some sort of account system (like Facebook). So games like Candy Crush and whatnot, WOULD transfer.

---------- hell no! Iphone apps are ISA files… Android uses APKs… Can you put a Ford F150 engine in a Honda Civic?

I do I have to re-download the apps and play them from the start?
----------- exactly!

  • What are some messaging apps that are compatible with //both// iOS and Windows? My long distance friend and I would like to converse daily. We message on Skype, but it's very glitchy. She has a Windows tablet, and I have an iPhone. I also have an ANDROID tablet if you can think of messaging apps that are compatible with either iOS&Windows or Windows&ANDROID. Please give us some apps. I can't seem to find any.
  • Switching from Android to Iphone. Transfer apps? I have an android phone with Verizon wireless. I'm switching to sprint and getting the Iphone5. I was wondering do I have to reinstall all the apps that I have downloaded over the two years I had this phone. I also have an app called CLZ Comic database. I bought this app for 10 when I switch do I have to buy it again. There's no login or password information so it's not like I can log in from the iphone5, it sounds like most likely I will have to buy it?
