Can your IPhone 4S be tracked?
I have the IPhone 4S, & the other day my mom said she she could GPS where I was at, she doesn't have a smart phone or anything. So can she actually track where my phone is online or something? & it she can, is there something I can turn off on my phone so she can't locate it?
She could have created an account with iCloud, which has a feature to track the Apple device. Or she could have gotten the tracking with the cellular provider. If she doesn't have a smart phone, this means she will only be able to view you on your home computer.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, your movements have been tracked without your seems to have come into effect with the start of Apple's iOS 4 update, which was released in June 2010. Luckily, you can learn how to disable iPad tracking.
- Tracked stolen iphone, can the police help retrieve it? On Monday night my phone went missing at a nightclub, I'm unsure whether it was lost or stolen however a couple of other things went missing from my bag. I know now that the phone has been taken, using iCoud and "find my iphone" I tracked my phone to a house on a road near to the club, so someone has obviously found/taken my phone home with them. Are the police able to do anything about this as i know the location of my phone?

Okay my mom has a tracker on my phone and i don't want her tracking me all the time but its okay sometimes, if i turn the location services of on my iphone will she still be able to track me? My parents are strict and smother us, and we like to have space and like to go out. So sometimes we leave at night. We like to have fun and got out. But iPhones are trackable right? So if we turn the iPhone gps and any other gps apps off can it still be tracked?
