Christmas list ideas for teenage girl?

Hi! I'm out of ideas of what to ask for! I've already written down- new Louis Vuitton purse, makeup, camera, iPhone 6s plus, and a new laptop. Anything else I should add? By the way, I'm 16.

Ask for something intangible. Everything on your list is superficial stuff… Its just "stuff" that's going to be outdated or "old" in a few months. Something intangible might be something like a class or hobby you've always wanted to take… Like enrollment in a kickboxing class, racecar driving lessons, gym membership, or something like that… The intangible stuff is always the most fun and exciting.

ask for something that's going to be rewarding for you.

don't ask for makeup. Ask for a giftcard to Clinique or something like that (department stores will do free makeover and makeup lesson as well as most the makeup stores like MAC). Makeup is too personal, they won't be able to pick the right products.

depending on your socioeconomic class, and your parents finances, you're not going to get any of the items on this list because they are several hundred dollars each. If you ask for stuff they can't afford, you're gong to get a substitute that's a let down. Be specific… And realistic. If you ask for "camera" you might end up with some 25 dollar webcam or something or nothing at all because the laptop and phone both have cameras in them… Or you won't get one because you already have one. Instead of "camera" say "HD GoPro" or other specific model. Think like a parent.

I will never understand the need for older children to ask for gifts rather enjoying what the true meaning of Christmas is. You should be grateful what you already have instead of asking for what you don't have.

Wow, that's a lot to ask for, and you are looking for more? Look at the financials of your list so far. A new Louis Vuitton is a minimum of $300. A camera can also be a few hundred, the iPhone 6s is expensive because its brand new, AND a laptop?! Seriously, if you were my 16 year old, I would laugh in your face and tell you to get a job.

I agree with both the answers already posted. Maybe YOU should start realizing what Christmas actually is and instead of being a greedy little girl, how about you volunteer at a soup kitchen? Maybe then you will understand what work is. I had a job at 15 and had to save to buy myself all those things.

I do agree that maybe you could ask for hobby supplies, or hobby classes, or something that will be beneficial to your life rather and time rather than a device that you will lose interest in/break/forget about in a matter of months.

What about some new shoes or a bag? I asked for mostly makeup from high end brand such as mac, urban decay, nars, benefit, bobby brown. Maybe you could get some high end makeup aswell?
