Dad can see messages iphone?
So I recently found out that my dad was getting all my iMessages (I was signed in on his Apple ID and iCloud)
So I left his account and made my own free Apple ID and made my own iCloud did I do everything to make sure that he can't see my messages? Please tell me if there's some way he can still see them
If you are registered with your own ID then your father won't get messages. Don't worry
Not anymore. Getting your own Apple ID stopped that.

- Today my dad upgraded to an iphone 10, and because he has the forever iphone plan he was able to keep his old phone and he gave it to me? I synced all of my apps and contacts from my old phone, a samsung, to the new one, when I texted one of my friends, I found out I was sending messages through my icloud address and I had no service. Is this something I'll have to call my carrier about to switch my number, or can it be done manually and from the phone's settings. If the it's the latter, what steps would I have to take?
