Damn the new iPhones are expensive - have they got more expensive?

I want to replace my old iPhone 3GS which I've had for like 5 years.

I'm sure I never paid that much for my 3GS.

The value of the dollar has decreased in the last couple of years so the price of certain things has gone up.

Supply and demand. So long as there are dumb people in the world who are convinced through advertising that they need the latest and greatest gadgets, companies can charge whatever they like - and you'll STILL buy it.

Actually it was the same, when I bought 3GS it was $199 on contract, when I got iphone 5S it was $199 on contract and I actually sold my 3GS for $50 which I could have sold it for more at that time. Today I can't imagine why you would still be using 3GS when 5C is free on contract, thats a huge upgrade over 3GS also.

  • Why is the new iPhone SE more expensive in the UK than the US? The price for a 16GB in the US is $399 (£282) and the price in the UK is £359, thats £77 more for the same thing?
  • Why are iPhones so much more expensive in england than america? I was just browsing around on the Apple site, and I was having a look at the iPhone 5 when I realised that I was on Apple USA site not the UK, and switched to the UK site. The iPhone 5 on the US site said from $199 but when I went on the UK site it said from £529! That is like $788 dollars! Why the hell is the iPhone 5 (and basically any iPhone model/apple product) so much more expensive in the UK? 199 dollars and 788 dollars is a huge difference.
  • What's wrong with my god damn iphone? IPhone 4 *** is going to 1% battery sometimes, even when I'm charging it and won't charge. If I turn it off and leave for a day overnight it starts to work and charge again. WTF? Why such a moody iPhone? Should it slam it against the wall, what should I do to make it work always. I didn't pay hundreads of dallars to own a POS phone… I really do not like spending time on fixing stupid electronics manufactured by idiots…
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
