Do I have a right to be suspicious?

My boyfriend and I've dated for a year now. This is my first relationship so I don't want to ruin it by being clingy. But I don't want to ignore a potential issue either.

- Has a Facebook, doesn't want to make our relationship public; thinks it would 'cause drama'
- Didn't want any of his female friends and exes to know we were dating
- Within a month of us dating, we went to MA to visit his family/friends (we live in NC together; he's in the military) and he left me at his parents' house to hang out with two of his exes without me
- Within a month of us dating I found a picture on his phone of his ex posing in a pair of leopard spot panties; he said the picture was saved accidentally to his phone, he didn't save it, but it's an iPhone and being familiar with iPhones I have never ever experienced an iPhone doing that
- Used to be okay with me holding his phone but after a couple months of us dating refused to even let me touch it; says he's just always really conscious of it, so he never leaves his phone behind if he leaves the room I'm in; his phone's always locked and he never shares the code with me either
- One of his female friends texted him saying "hey handsome. " and he replied "hey beautiful girl. "

I trust my boyfriend totally. I wouldn't date him if I didn't. But he always gets mad when I ask him questions about these honestly WEIRD occurrences, so tell me: do I have a right to ask questions? Am I being overanalytical or not?

Get a clue.

If he were sleeping around that would be bad enough but my dear, you do not trust someone who leaves you with his parents while he goes out with ex girlfriends, nor do you trust someone who is ashamed to make your relationship public. Get rid of him. There's enough evidence here you don't have to ask questions.

You have a right for anything in this world but he's doing something if he's not even letting you touch is phone & he has his ex girl in leopard booty shorts on it.

I would have a serious talk with him… My boyfriend never had any pics of girls on his phone (except me) and he didn't care if I went on it. Please don't yell at him when you are talking and DON't BE ACCUSING! Just have a nice mature talk.

Girl… Really. You just answered your own question multiple times. Hes a cheater, put up with it or leave him.

Short and to the point. You have every right to ask for his phone. He is not the only guy in the world believe me. It's hard to let go of something for fear of the unknown and questions like will I find someone else? Of course you will. I'm telling you to get out before you get any more attached. If you think about it logically it almost seems ad if you're a fallback. Please do yourself a favor get out while you can. He is doing horrible things behind your back, the evidence is there and you're choosing not to see it for fear of losing him. He's a loser and does not deserve you

Leave him, if he refuses to even let you look at his phone. The pictures, he's a cheater.
Leave him before he hurts you.
