Does a new iPhone screen fix unresponsive touch?
I recently dropped my iPhone and the screen cracked. After about a month and a half the screen is getting worse. There's now a portion that is discolored and unresponsive to touch and sometimes it will open apps or type with out touching the phone at all. If I got a new phone to fix the crack, would the other problems go away as well?
The screen has a digitizer (touch sensor) connected to it. That needs to be fixed when the screen is. They come as a combo replacement part. Best luck.
- What does it mean if part of an Iphone touch screen is unresponsive? Only the right side of my Iphone isn't responding. I can only get passed the lockcode which is a struggle. (7-6-7-3) 6 and 3 are really hard to press. There's no pixelated or white lines running down it, it looks perfectly normal. So can someone tell me what it is?

- Touch screen unresponsive on iPhone 5? My iPhone 5's touchscreen is not responding at all. I tried to reboot it already and took off screen protectors.might it have water in it because a few drops of water seeped through the waterproof case when i dropped it into the deep end of the pool. Do i need to take it to apple or is it something stupidly simple?
- My iphone screen is black and ONLY the touch is unresponsive My iPhone 8 hit the ground and there was no physical damage. The home button is still responsive and so is the silent switch. I'm still able to receive calls, i just have no way of actually answering or in turn making them; i also still hear text notifications/feel vibrations. HOWEVER, i can't see the screen AT ALL. It is completely black and unresponsive. What can i do, besides taking it to apple?
