Does an 8 gb Iphone 4, have exactly 8 GB free?
I mean, i suppose some of the GB will be used for operations and apps, so in normal usage how many GB can i expect free? 7 GB? Or lesser?
Typically the amount free is 10% than what is advertised.
An 8GB iPhone has 7.2GB free.

I've got an 8GB iPhone 5c and what's available is less than 3GB, so most of your 8GB is taken up with the software and OS.

- What exactly does the iPhone backup back up? I'm going to update my iPhone software (finally!) and I'm worried that all of my data won't be saved. For example, will I have all of my notes, picture folders, app data, emails, etc? I'm terrified that I'll lose my notes. - What Does Restoring An iPhone Using iTunes Do Exactly? I have a jailbroken iphone 4. Yesterday, I deleted a file from the system of the iPhone using iExplorer on Windows (I deleted the file so that I fix an issue), The issue I was having was gone after deleting the file from system. The question: If I restore my iPhone using iTunes to factory settings, I know the jailbreak would go, but will the DELETED file reappear again?
